Information included in the Calendar of Events:

EVENT TITLE

Full title identifying the event, e.g. meeting, workshop, symposium, seminar.

START DATE

Start date of the event.

END DATE

End date of the event.

LEAD ORGANIZATION

The IOMC organization(s) (and if applicable - office, unit, division etc.) which funds the event and/or is responsible for its administration, implementation, management, etc.

COOPERATING ORGANIZATIONS

International, regional and national institutions, governmental bodies, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations which are actively involved in (parts of) the implementation of the event.

PLACE

The city and country where the event takes place.

GEOGRAPHIC LEVEL

Indication of the event's scope: world-wide, regional, sub-regional or national.

COMMENTS

Any comments or precisions that the Lead Organization would like to make about the event.

 

Information included in the Inventory of Activities Report:

ACTIVITY TITLE

Full title identifying the activity/project.

ACTIVITY AREA
Classification of the specific activity/project according to one of the five objectives defined in the SAICM texts adopted in February 2006. Full definitions of the SAICM objectives are given in the SAICM Overarching Policy Strategy at paragraphs 13-18 and descriptions of the type of activities falling within each objective can be found in the SAICM Global Plan of Action at A-E, paragraphs 9-13 (www.chem.unep.ch/saicm/SAICM%20texts/SAICM%20documents.htm).

LEAD ORGANIZATION

The IOMC organization(s) (and if applicable - office, unit, division etc.) which funds the activity/project.

COOPERATING ORGANIZATION

International, regional and national institutions, governmental bodies, intergovernmental and non-governmental organizations which are responsible for the administration, implementation, management, etc. of the activity/project. Donors should be listed in this field, using ISO country codes (3 letters) as described at http://unstats.un.org/unsd/methods/m49/m49alpha.htm.

OUTPUTS

Information on the expected "product(s)" and output(s) resulting from the specific activity is briefly described or listed.

YEAR(S) OF OUTPUT(S)

Year that the information on the "product(s)" and output(s) will be available to the public.

DURATION OF ACTIVITY

Planned or effective starting and completion dates of the project including specific dates for significant sub-project elements. For a continuing activity, "Continuing" or "on-going" is indicated.

GEOGRAPHICAL LEVEL

Indication of the activity's scope: world-wide, regional, sub-regional or national.

PAST OUTPUT ON WEB SITE

Web links to related or past output posted on the Internet.

RESOURCES ALLOCATED

Indication of the resources allocated: <$10,000; $10,000 - $100,000; $100,000 - $1,000,000; >$1,000,000.
