The 2023 edition has a special focus on behavioural risk factors and includes for the first time an examination of the state of mental health and related services in each country.

Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) – the ability of microbes to resist antimicrobials - remains an alarming global health threat that jeopardises the effectiveness of many 20th century public health advances. In recent years, Cyprus made important strides in tackling AMR. Yet, more progress is needed.
